Lego Wall Mount Bracket Installation Instructions

Here's our guide to installing your 3D-printed wall mounts. These brackets are designed to support your Lego Technic, Star Wars and Icons models safely and securely, and proper installation will ensure your builds are firmly held on display for you to enjoy.

Required Materials

  • Wall mount bracket
  • Screws (supplied)
  • Rawl plugs (Rawlplug Uno 6mm fixings are supplied with your bracket - you can find the Rawlplug information leaflet here).
  • Power drill
  • 6mm diameter drill bit
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Spirit level (optional but recommended)
  • Ruler
  • Pencil

Installation Process

  1. Locate Mounting Position
    • Choose a location away from electrical wires and pipework
    • Mark the bracket screw-hole centres on your wall with a pencil. Ensure the holes are level, either by eye or by using a spirit level (recommended).
    • At the time of writing all of our two-hole brackets have 30mm hole centres, other than:
      • Icons Senna McLaren MP4/4 (set 10330) – 70mm
      • Kylo Ren's TIE fighter (set 75179) – 40mm

  1. Prepare Mounting Surface
    • Drill the screw holes into your wall, to the depth of the rawl plug length or the length of the screw protruding from the back of the bracket when the screw has been fully inserted (whichever is longer)
    • Fit the rawl plugs into the wall

  1. Attach Bracket
    • Align the bracket’s holes with the pre-drilled wall holes
    • Insert the screws and tighten fully. Be careful not to overtighten, to avoid damaging the bracket
    • Confirm the bracket is level (by eye or, preferably, using a spirit level) and secure

  1. Final Check
    • Test the bracket stability – verify there is no movement or wobbling
    • Ensure the screws are completely fastened

  1. Mount your Model
    • Hang your model on the wall mount - the images in our product listings show where to position the bracket
    • Enjoy your wall mounted Lego!

Safety Tips

  • Check the mounting periodically
  • Do not exceed the Rawlplug recommended weight limits (shown in the Rawlplug information leaflet).
